Ronin Project 3: Musket Armed Figures

With the next sprue I balanced up the musket/bow ratio with 4 musket ashigaru to one archer.

Pairing up the left and right arms was not too difficult and the loose musket offered the opportunity to paint the chest unobstructed before putting the weapon in place.

Victrix 28mm Theban Hoplites

Enough in the pack to make two 24 men units. 

 As with earlier Hoplites they were based on the old WRG 15m/figure frontages which were a bit tight. To make handling easier the front ranks were mounted 2 x 2  while the rear ranks were monted 4 x 1 (with casualty removal options. The Theban Club shield designs are by Little Big Men Studios.
